dear sami, so proud to read my friend's young brother's great opinion and analysis ,amazed by the effect of time and of course hard work and perseverence. I enjoyed the last article especially that the Statment of our great poet Nizar you've discussed had affected me before by its simplicity and deapth !( as everything he'd ever written) maybe we've waited for all the valuable information and analysis you have added in a precise and elaborate style. great website for your great work. all the best for more success!! What a gem of a site - filled with intellect and genuine patriotism. While Syria has been hopelessly drifting into the abyss of mediocrity and self-deprecation since the early Sixties, one would assume that such a fresh voice from within the Mother Land is a virtual impossibility. Despair no more; this site is an indisputable manifestation of a new genre of young Syrian intellectual bent on affirmative and constructive change. After more than 3 decades of spewing empty clichés, tribal conservatism, and secular liberalism, droves of incompetent and intellectually challenged army-officers-turned-politicians managed to grab the imagination of millions of misguided and ill-prepared Syrians searching for a true identity. While the Syrian past has given us several thought leaders in politics, literature, arts, and sciences, this site is a fresh reminder that Syria is alive and well. The drought is over and the rain has started to fall. Sami, thanks for the fresh air and the ionic breeze! Best wishes, Munif Atassi Washington, DC USA

Another view and another voice is always welcome in the world of journalism and politics, especially when it is about the Motherland. Take care and Good Luck.
